PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY

At Portland State University I was awarded a Bachelor's of Science in General Sciences.  Early in my studies I focused on natural resources sciences, horticulture, and ecology with a plan to pursue a career in landscape architecture or natural resource management.

Near the end of my time at Portland State University I enrolled in a first course on conflict resolution.  My interest was immediately piqued.  During my remaining three quarters I took many classes on conflict, educational equity, dialogue, and geo-politics.  It was these classes that led me to pursue work in Cyprus and Macedonia, and graduate studies in Hungary.
